Blue Lotus Experience
Kodaikanal · November 2026
Come home to yourself.
Two days in the forests of Kodaikanal. Limited to eleven participants.
Slow living · presence · silence · tea · forest
Very little. Very precise.
Blue Lotus is built around the belief that presence becomes possible when the unnecessary is removed.
Your body is your temple.
Nature is your medicine.
Presence is the practice. Every detail on this retreat is shaped to protect that quiet center: fewer choices, slower transitions, more room to breathe.

A retreat shaped by texture, quiet, and human-scale ritual.
The rhythm is slow enough to notice rain on leaves, the weight of a ceramic cup, and the relief of not needing to perform.
Forest Walks
Unhurried walks through the rainforest where attention returns to texture, moisture, and breath.
Tea Ceremony
A quiet tea ritual designed to slow the body and soften the pace of the room.
Journaling
Reflective prompts and private writing time to listen more closely to what is already there.
Campfire Conversations
Small circle conversations that make room for honesty, warmth, and lived experience.
Shared Silence
Space to be together without performance, allowing silence to become part of the practice.
Two days in the forest, shaped for presence rather than pace.
Times are approximate. Presence matters more than the clock.
Day One
A gentle arrival into the forest
Arrival, orientation, tea, journaling, campfire, and closing silence.
9:00 AM
Arrival
Participants arrive at the retreat venue. Welcome tea is served while everyone settles into the space. Phones are encouraged to remain on silent.
9:45 AM
Opening Circle
A gentle introduction. We meet one another, share intentions, and begin creating a space built on trust, curiosity, and presence.
10:30 AM
Forest Walk
A slow guided walk through the surrounding rainforest. There is no destination. Only observation.
12:30 PM
Farm-to-Table Lunch
A seasonal vegetarian meal prepared using locally sourced ingredients. Conversation is welcome. Silence is equally welcome.
2:00 PM
Rest & Reflection
Unstructured time. Journal. Read. Nap. Sit beneath a tree. Watch the rain. Do nothing.
3:30 PM
Tea Ceremony
A slow tea ritual, held more as a practice than a performance. An opportunity to practice attention through simple actions.
4:30 PM
Guided Journaling
Prompt-based reflective writing. No writing experience is required. The goal is honesty, not perfection.
6:00 PM
Sunset Walk
A quiet walk through the forest as evening approaches. Observe how the landscape changes with fading light.
7:00 PM
Campfire Dinner & Conversation
Dinner is shared around a fire. The evening is intentionally unstructured. Stories emerge naturally.
9:00 PM
Closing Silence
Before leaving for the evening, participants spend a few quiet minutes together. No instructions. Just stillness.
Day Two
A quieter morning, a slower departure
Sunrise gathering, breath, reflection, the closing circle, and a slow farewell.
7:00 AM
Sunrise Gathering
Meet outdoors. Watch the forest wake. No agenda. Simply notice.
7:45 AM
Breath & Presence
Gentle breathing exercises suitable for everyone. No advanced practice. No performance. Only awareness.
8:30 AM
Tea & Light Breakfast
Fresh fruit, seasonal local food, handcrafted tea, and slow conversation.
9:30 AM
Forest Bathing Ritual
Participants explore individually. Optional journaling prompts are provided. Walk slowly. Pause often. Let the forest set the pace.
11:00 AM
Closing Circle
We gather once more. Participants are invited, but never required, to share what they are taking home from the experience.
12:00 PM
Farewell Lunch
A final shared meal. Simple. Seasonal. Nourishing.
1:30 PM
Departure
No formal goodbye. Only gratitude. The retreat ends. The practice continues.

The forest has never asked you to become someone else.
Only to remember who you already are.
A retreat is not an escape from life. It is a way of returning to it with more clarity, less noise, and a steadier pulse.
For people who need the pace of their days to change.
This retreat is for those who are carrying a full calendar, a noisy mind, or a steady ache for stillness.
